Each time we finish building a home for a client, we are proud to provide them with a way to give back to the community. For the 2022 Helping Hands Project, we wanted to donate to nonprofits that focus on the well-being of children and families in our community. With the help of the vendors and sponsors who made these donations possible, the following non-profits have received donations from the project:Helping Hands - New Mexico Law Enforcement Torch RunⓇ for Special Olympics

New Mexico Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics: This wonderful organization empowers and promotes New Mexico law enforcement agencies to raise money year-round for the Special Olympics.

Casa De Peregrinos: This food and clothing bank is continually working to ensure our local residents remain fed and clothed during harsh times. We hope these contributions make a difference in the upcoming holiday season.

La Casa, Inc.: This non-profit works in domestic violence prevention, awareness, advocacy, and support. They provide comprehensive and community-based support for those in need within Dona Ana County.

Toys for Tots: This organiztion provides toys to lower-income children and children in need. We are happy to provide them with our support. They are always accepting toy donations, especially with the upcoming holiday season. Helping Hands - Casa De Peregrinos

Jardin de los Ninos: The mission of Jardin de los Ninos is to create new possibilities for homeless and near-homeless children and their families through loving childcare, education, and community resources. They believe all children can flourish when they have access to opportunities and quality care.

Binns Family Foundation: This organization has a wide impact in Las Cruces and Dona Ana County, from building affordable housing for low-income families to helping small businesses get off the ground. We are happy to have played a small role in the larger impact they continue to have throughout our community.

Continuing the Legacy

This year’s success only makes us that much more excited to continue this project in the future. We look forward to continuing to provide an opportunity to people throughout our community to make an impact on those around them, and we hope that more and more people and organizations will join us in these efforts!
